Energy Watch provides this website (Website) to assist you to select your electricity and or gas provider (the Service).  By using the Website you acknowledge and agree to these conditions of use (Conditions of Use).

1.1 Amendment

Energy Watch PTY LTD may at any time and at Energy Watch’s absolute discretion vary these Conditions of Use.

1.2 Use of Your Information

You acknowledge and agree that Energy Watch may use your personal information in accordance with the Energy Watch Privacy Policy.

For the purposes of the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (if it applies) - by submitting your telephone number to Energy Watch Pty Ltd, you give your consent to Energy Watch Pty Ltd contacting you by telephone on that number. 1.3 Limitation of Liability

1.3.1 Outside sources provide some of the information available on the Website (Website Information) and therefore there may be inaccuracies in the Website Information over which Energy Watch has no control.
1.3.2 Energy Watch does not warrant or guarantee the:
1.3.2.1 timeliness, accuracy or completeness of the Website Information; or
1.3.2.2 quality of the results obtained from the use of the Website.
1.3.3  To the maximum extent permitted by law, Energy Watch has no liability in relation to or arising out of the Website Information and Website recommendations. You are responsible for the final choice of your electricity/gas retailer and you should take time to read through all information supplied before proceeding. If you are in any doubt regarding an electricity/ gas product or its terms you should seek further advice from Energy Watch or the relevant Electricity  Retailer before choosing your product.
1.3.4  Energy Watch may pass on your personal information to the relevant electricity retailers if you purchase an energy product via Energy Watch, however, Energy Watch does not guarantee when or if you will actually become a customer of the electricity retailer that you have chosen.  Energy Watch does not accept any liability arising out of circumstances where there is delay in you becoming a customer of a electricity retailer that you have chosen.

1.4 Disclosure of Commission

Energy Watch receives payment of commissions from participating electricity retailers in order to provide the services provided by Energy Watch on the Website (Service). You are not required to pay Energy Watch for the Service.

Statements made on the Website are not intended to be statements of the law.

2.3 Preferred Suppliers

Energy Watch Pty Ltd works with several Energy Retailers, which we deem to be our ‘Preferred Suppliers’. Our Preferred Suppliers are determined by our criteria of offering competitive energy products, which we deem appropriate and beneficial for our customers. As products and services in the energy market are constantly changing, we cannot always offer the ‘best’ energy offer to our customers. Our service of ‘offering a better deal’ involves our consultants assessing the customer’s current energy rates, discounts, contract terms, rewards on offer and energy consumption- in order to gauge if products we endorse are more appropriate and beneficial for each individual customer. Customers are not obligated to act on any advice given by Energy Watch, the final decision to change products or retailers remains entirely up to the customer.

2.4 Limitation of Liability

2.4.1 Energy Watch Pty Ltd preferred Electricity and Gas suppliers (Energy Retailers) provide all information regarding their Products and Services to Energy Watch Pty Ltd, if there are inaccuracies in the information provided to Energy Watch from the Energy Retailers, Energy Watch Pty Ltd is not liable for these inaccuracies which maybe passed onto the customer.
2.4.2 Energy Watch Pty Ltd does not warrant or guarantee the:
2.4.2.1 Timeliness, accuracy or completeness of the product and service and product and service information provided; or
2.4.2.2 Quality of the product or service,
2.4.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Energy Watch Pty Ltd has no liability in relation to or arising out of the Product and Service, Product and Service Information or Product of Service recommendations. You are responsible for the final choice of your Energy Retailer product and or service and you should take time to read through all product and or service information supplied before proceeding. If you are in any doubt regarding any product and or service or its terms, you should seek further advice from Energy Watch Pty Ltd or the specific Energy Retailer before choosing a new product or service.
2.4.4 Energy Watch Pty Ltd will pass on your personal information to the relevant Energy Retailer if you wish to switch to one of their products or services via Energy Watch Pty Ltd, however, Energy Watch Pty Ltd does not guarantee when or if you will actually be supplied by the energy retailer that you have chosen. Energy Watch Pty Ltd does not accept any liability arising out of circumstances where there is delay in you becoming a customer of the Energy Retailer you have chosen.

2.5 Disclosure of Commission

Customers are not required to pay Energy Watch Pty Ltd for the Service. Energy Watch Pty Ltd is a privately owned commercial organisation, and is not owned in part or in whole by any Energy Retailers or external corporations.
